be in the playoffs. THAT SHOULD BE A CRITERIA OF THE COMMITTEE. It isn’t ever fun when a team that lost what was essentially a quarter final game (or at least what should be considered that) be allowed into the semis. I totally understand if there is a team that didn't play in the conf. championship be allowed in (in rare circumstances) but not the loser of the conf. championship. But everything in College Football is so arbitrary and subjective that I shouldn’t care too much when things happen that make NO sense. Oh well. Maybe the committee will surprise me (in a good way).
