You don't think those huge crowds did anything to amp the Rainbows? Those

crowds only showed up for BYU. Hawaii didn't care about anybody else back then. BYU was their main target. I think not acknowledging those insane anti- BYU environments in 1989 and 1990 doesn't tell the whole story. Those BYU games were penciled in for the fans and players. BYU had no business not being ready for that environment in 1990 though. They were still basking in the Heisman celebration
