Depends on what you call somewhat comfortably but having lived in California I would say about
$350k. And that would get you a decently moderate but still not ideal living situation.

Yep you can do it on that. SoCal is much cheaper than the Bay Area. But even at 225 with a 900k home, that’s not a ton
