CA living really boils down to how close you are to the beach

I have a brother that works in LA and commutes over from Temecula. Their house is good sized and newer. Worth 550-600 max. You do NOT need to make 350 to be comfortable

Yep you can do it on that. SoCal is much cheaper than the Bay Area. But even at 225 with a 900k home, that’s not a ton
