900 K get you a nice 2500 square-foot four bedroom house in south OC. So if you can put the 180 K down you’re looking at most 4500 a month for your mortgage. I think 200-250k is the comfort range if you have a family. Probably 120k if you are single.

Yep you can do it on that. SoCal is much cheaper than the Bay Area. But even at 225 with a 900k home, that’s not a ton
