Friday's Five Musical Obscurities: Excavating David Bowie
Last year as a project I listened to everything I could find that David Bowie recorded. Let's just say that took a while (over 400 songs). Some of those songs I may never listen to again. But it was more than worth it, because there are some I don't remember hearing before that are now in my rotation as often as "Oh You Pretty Things," "Fashion," or "Absolute Beginners."
To mark the fourth anniversary of Bowie's transcendance to the Blackstar, here five of those gems.
Strangers When We Meet (Buddha of Suburbia version) 1993
Can't say what it is, but I like this version better than the one from Outside. Grows on me the more I hear it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlQpWl955T8
