is at an all time low but it’s not all BYU’s fault. NCAA football in general is broken in that there’s just way too much money involved. Elite teams have shown not only a much bigger gap than everyone else but they’ve also shown the ability to stay on top longer. So even if BYU were to find the best coach’s out there or in the off chance they do get picked up eventually in a P5 conference, the program still wouldn’t be anywhere near being able to compete with the top 3-4 teams. Putting this in context with the current coaching situation just makes it that much more unrealistic. Ultimately BYU football feels about as close to championship football as Pluto is from the sun.
