I had no right to buy a house, but did anyway. Working part-time for $14 an hour
with a newborn baby. It's crazy to think back on. Now my wife is working part-time for $15.50 an hour and it hardly impacts our finances.
Wife was very hesitant, but I knew the mortgage industry and knew how to qualify for a mortgage. She went along when she realized the mortgage would be the same cost as rent for a much smaller place. Best financial decision we made.
