of the world got the virus. There are only about 600 million people over age 65. So let’s say 1/3 of them were infected. 200 million give it take infected. At an 8% death rate based on the percentage of people over 65 dying so far, 16 million deaths.
That would be brutal if it happened. It’s not going to happen. This isn’t 1918.
Your willingness to use worst case numbers to make a point is what leads people to freak out. This will pass. And hopefully it does with numbers far more positive than yours. Which it will.
