This is not bigger than 911 and when the dust settles and we realize that we
can and already live with viruses today that kill way more people, there will be major political price to pay. It's the uncertainty of the moment now that makes us feel like this is a bid deal but it's not because of anything that has actually happened. 100 + dead in the US is not a big moment. 5,000, 25,000, 75,000 dead isn't a big moment. This is a virus not bombs or airplanes intentionally blowing up Americans. The death better be on a magnitude of 100,000 + in the USA before it will be considered a big deal. I really pray that our Governments are not screaming fire in crowded theater when the numbers come out.
