This is true. 9/11 was a MOMENT...terrifying, instant, unprecedented. We were
attacked. The emotion and drama of it were massive.
This may have longer-lasting effects, but the visuals are much less impactful. Everyone is affected directly, in their lives, right now. Everyone will have stories about when it happened. But it's appearance was a lot more gradual and less instantly impactful for the majority of us.

If this is another 9/11 it will be interesting to see what freedoms we sacrifice for supposed security from the govt
