and they may be cutting off more public land than needed. It really comes down to a question of risk. We can risk too little action, have this explode and then be able to do next to nothing to contain it, or we can take bigger steps now that may seem an over reaction and contain this thing.
Like I said, I get your point and they may be cutting off too much land. Cutting out all the big touristy stuff makes good sense, but the local national forests that don't draw the tourists may not need to be subject to the same measures. Hopefully this will pass soon....
