I thought the "flatten the curve" model was supposed to try to spread out
the strain somewhat equally for an extended period of time. I'm not in health services, and I have no idea what the current strain is. Based on a thread I read yesterday, it's significantly different from area to area of the country. Based on what was posted yesterday in a thread on this subject, there are lots of hospitals in major metro areas that currently have 1 or zero cases that they're currently treating.
