general guidelines and formats for the at home curriculum and it looks like my elementary kids will have 3 academic assignments per day that are not meant to last longer than 35 minutes each. Junior High and High School are different and will likely take significantly more time. The assignments are all ungraded and failure to complete the assignments won't adversely affect their actual grades.

In the upper levels, completing assignments can improve your current grade but will not lessen it.
