wrote a letter to the principal which basically said the workload is over-the-top should I get an official homeschool affidavit or can I just do my own thing and put them back in when this is done. The principal quickly wrote back that the official affidavit wasn't necessary and that he'd notify the teachers that our kids wouldn't be participating. Done.

Now our kids can actually learn something instead of being burdened by a bunch of busy work.
