It’s not hard if you stop and think about how test availability has ramped up.
Can you really deduce anything from the early reports of confirmed cases? It was only ten or so days ago that only Congressmen and NBA stars were being tested.
Early data on case numbers is garbage. It’s still garbage today - every interview I hear with ER docs talks about sending MOST symptomatic patients home without testing.
We have no clue on how many cases have been out there the past 3-4 weeks. And every day that number is less and less uncertain.
