I don't see a single article on PubMed about hemolytic anemia
and coronavirus.
The entire family of coronavirus are respiratory illnesses. Hydroxychloroquine is effective because it changes the pH of intracellular compartments blocking exocytosis of viral particles as well as somehow blocking the Spike protein from binding to host cells preventing cellular uptake.
It would be very clear on laboratory evaluation at this point if it was a hemolytic disorder.
