Two or three days ago my twitter feed had a post from a doctor in NYC. This doctor is at the center of the epidemic. He said exactly what you are saying. He felt so strongly about his position that he took the time during a break to send his evaluation out into the public.

Agree SARS-CoV2 doesn't cause hemolysis directly, though multi-organ failure with DIC will. Likely mechanism of action
