There’s just not much use for those types of guys in today’s game.
Yes those guys had better low post skills than the 5’s of today, but that’s because post ups have become less efficient.
Those 5’s would greatly struggle in today’s game. They can’t space the floor, they can’t defend the perimeter. They’d be shredded in pick n roll over and over.
