I joined the ranks of Green Mountain Grill owners tonight
I figured no better way to celebrate Memorial Day and a quarantine than smoked meets. Gonna try beef ribs and tri tip tomorrow. Those were the only cuts I could find on short notice after I left the BBQ shop. Picked up the Daniel Boone Prime with WiFi, meat temp probes and upgraded cart. I was torn between the pellet models and a Kamado Joe, primarily because the Joe can get to a much higher temp, but decided it wasn’t worth hundreds more to me to be able to sear a steak once in a while (had to draw a line on cost somewhere). Wish me luck tomorrow with assembly and my first attempt!
