I don't think remembering those we loved cheapens it..I do think that all these
businesses who cash in on holidays and turn it in to a how-much-money-can-we-make cheapens it a lot. It reminds me of Christmas where we spend most of our time (and money) for the wrong reasons.
Then again, I'm a hypocrite because I'm always looking for a sale or deal out there, even on holidays.
