People are free to do whatever they want. I don’t have any issues with
people remembering their loved ones today or any day.

All I’m saying is that to claim Memorial Day is a day intended time remember all of our loved ones who have passed is not factually correct. It was specifically designated to remember those who passed in military service. If people want to make it something else for themselves, it’s a free country, but it isn’t what the day was designated for.
