altogether below the counter and went with huge drawers. We did that little guest house in all Ikea cabinets and their big drawers are much more convenient and cleaner looking than having to open two doors and then pull out a shelf.

Large farm sink. Utensil drawer with cylinder containers to hold them vertically. Similar drawer for flour, sugar, etc.
