Swamp coolers work very well in AZ. Your cheapest option, you can get a large

one for $500. All garages have vents anyway, so should not be hard bent. Mini splits are cool, but a quality Mitsubishi system will be $8-12k for one unit. And only licensed contractors are allowed to set them up.

And don’t divert your home AC vents...CO will get into your house!
