So it goes... All-American
I've been to 22 National Parks, and I just can't say or pinpoint one best...
experience. Walking through the rain forests in Olympic to walking through the Joshua Trees in Joshua at low light, to watching a sunrise on the crystal clear water of Lake McDonald, then after driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier.

Walking to Chesler Park, the Joint Trail, to druid arch up elephant canyon in the Needles section of Canyonlands, to the Ruins in Mesa Verde and the lost history is incredible.

The stunning beauty of Bryce, at sunset and sunrise, to the Tetons. And just simple things like how colors change at sunrise in spring and fall in the Badlands, to Death Valley, to Saguaro NP when early and late light paints the desert making it ever changing. And Zion, with the slot canyons, and rim trails such a different experience.

The majesty and wildflowers of Rainier to the mystery of the Redwoods on a misty morning, to the ancient bristlecone pine grove in Great Basin, with Wheeler Peak as a backdrop and the far off views of the basin, then the beauty, wonders and wildlife of Yellowstone.

But out of the twenty two, thinking about it. I so vividly, strongly remember how moved, and the emotions I felt, when first seeing Capitol Reef as a 10 yr old. At the time a thought hit me, if I had any part in creating this Earth, my fingerprint is here.
