Sounds a lot like my brother who abused opiates along with pot
I felt about him a lot of the same ways you describe,. not liking him, can't get along, etc.
Only advice I can give is try to change your outlook and reaction to him because despite all the headaches, pain and suffering he caused my family when he was alive, I can honestly say we would take that any day over the pain and suffering his death caused and continues to cause 10 years on
