RE: Update on son who smokes pot
All my siblings are active members of the church, except one. He smokes Pot every day.
I’d call him an alcoholic, but he’s gotten that under control over the years. Anyway I thought it would be helpful to tell you that our whole family have a great relationship with him.
Our love and acceptance of him based on his word of wisdom observance and church attendance was long ago severed and because of that we have a great relationship.
He’s a great guy. I keep in touch with him more than most of my siblings because we’d like to talk about the jazz and BYU sports.
Sounds like your son has more going on than Pot. If I had any advice it would be to love him without conditions without enabling drug use.
