Pathfinder with luggage rack. We have a '13, and you could get good space on the
3rd row. 3rd row is only 2 seats, so it's more spacious.
The middle row slides up or back so it can give the 3rd row a little leg room.
Truck space isn't great, but you can get a roof bag for relatively cheap. That's all we need to get my family of 6 down to San Diego, and that's with 4 car seats

That's the biggest downfall of switching to SUV. If you still have kids, I'd stick with minivan. Can't beat
