He had 8 kids. When he got to where he couldn't live alone, he came and spent time with each kid that could take him, about 5 of us for several months at a time. Then when he started going downhill, he stayed full time with my sister who had elderly care experience and room to have him. That lasted about 18 months to he died. Pension and social security paid my sister for the care. It was an ideal situation. A DNR is important.
