These guys are visiting other schools before they go to BYU and they see what other schools are deciding to do with their discretionary funds. Some of the football facilities are embarrassingly behind much lesser institutions. People are crazy if they don't think this hasn't already affected recruiting. The odds that a donor just put up big money to redo the 3rd floor (although it needed it) is a long shot and Chaz is making a reasonable assumption here that the funds could have been used on the locker room. Probably not wise to voice it this way but can't say I blame him.
