I mean yeah, you're actually right haha. But I say that because the people I've

been helping lose weight have two problems with it:

  1. You don't have to eat more if you exercise. It'll increase your calorie deficit... so as a general rule I don't increase my food unless I used it as motivation (and even then I'd only increase 100-200 calories).
  2. One friend I was helping thought 15 minutes of running allowed him to continue drinking regular soda instead of diet soda. He was cutting 133 calories running and adding back around ~600. That's an extreme example, but I saw it played out with almost everyone I was helping to one degree or another... so I started telling them exercise didn't add back calories to their diet and the problem stopped. (A few I gave them the 100-200 calorie motivator, but I digress).

So you're right, but you know what you're doing so you can manage it correctly. Someone starting out has to be really careful with stuff like that, so I made that point with that in mind. I just had enough people mess this up that I quit recommending it haha.

Plus you don't have to, so you can increase your deficit that way if you so desire.

But I definitely wasn't as strict with myself as I make it sound on here.

Also, GOOD WORK! I've heard intermittent fasting really does a great job killing cravings. Keep it up!
