My son made the Freshman team and sat...following year he went back to the
community league and was a star.
His size just didn't work for high school and he was never going to be get a lot of playing time, so it just made sense.

My son did something similar at 16. He loved basketball and worked a ton to improve his cake. Going into his junior year

He's probably 15 now and a feshman. Made the team in 8th grade last year

Makes sense. I know some school districts you can't play if you are 19 in HS.
