Yes the team supported Riley but
Your not giving Riley credit for vastly outperforming Heaps when he got his chance. If nothing else Riley was smart enough to know what Heaps didn’t....Just throw it up to Hoff. Nelson could also get yards on the ground whereas Heaps couldn’t. Heaps was pretty bad to start the year and they still gave him multiple games to improve, and he didn’t.
