First, Boise State has a sweetheart deal with the mwc, so I’m not sure they would want to leave. 2nd, those “interesting” games you speak of are only interesting because they aren’t familiar. Spend a few years in a conference with them, and Cincinnati, Memphis and Tulane become as interesting as Wyoming, Colorado State and Fresno. None of the teams are regional, which makes traveling to the games harder and more expensive for fans. Non-regional games may not hurt recruiting, but it wouldn’t help recruiting either.

And if the goal is to win 11 or 12 games and become the G5 rep in a NY6 game, that’s easier in the mwc as presently constituted than it would be in the aac, with or without adding any teams.
