Man that's some passion. Certainly I respect your right to have an opinion, but I respectfully disagree. I appreciate his approach. Considering that he is working for a BYU channel and is undoubtedly a BYU homer, he does do his homework, has a good grasp on reality of the college sports landscape, is very articulate at expressing his thoughts, or stats, or comparisons etc., and I like that he is able to balance all of that to keep things realistic and in perspective, yet still very pro BYU. Linton and Shepherd give us plenty of over-the-top blue goggle takes to fill anyone's bucket. So it is nice to have someone to keep things realistic.

I haven't lived in UT for 10+ years, so things may have changed, but for the same reasons I really liked David James back in the day. I think he started getting annoyed at BYU fans and so it seemed like he got a little snarky towards the end before I moved, but I felt he was very knowledgeable and presented very good and realistic picture of things. Though I know some on CB don't like him at all, I never felt he tried to get a rise out of fans like Kinnahan or Monson do for the sake of argument.

Anyway, it's strange to me to see Jarom attacked like he is on here - like he's Gordon Monson or something. Regardless, I am just glad we have BYUTV/Radio; being an out of state guy, it is really nice not to have to listen to local UT sports talk, but can pull all things BYU on demand or live on Satelite during my drive to work.
