I'm not ok with 6-6 to 8-4 seasons, but I do think that BYU should be able
to compete with the top half of P5's regularly and have a chance at a NY6 or CFP (if lots of things break right). If we don't have a P5 level schedule, we will never be able to reach the top. If BYU runs the table with our current schedule, we will be in the conversation. That's all we can ask for as fans. How cheated would you feel if we dropped the schedule difficulty and pulled together the best team we've had.
If we dumb down our Independent schedule, then we should just join a G5 conference.

Yes, Indy. I am ok with 8-4 with those tough schedules. 9-4 if win a bowl. That is a solid P5 season.
