That's it. He and his wife and some of his daughters and in-laws (Tanner Mangum)

are BYU alumni. His role is not to be a BYU homer like Dick Harmon. He does sometimes swing to overly critical of BYU to mollify the sizeable anti-BYU readership of the Trib. I don't think today's piece was an example of overcompensating with unfair criticisms if the Y.
