It's reasonable. I honestly don't think BYU is close to playoff competitive

Those top 6ish teams are at a different level from BYU (and everyone else), but it seems clear BYU should be in the conversation for an NY6 spot. You don't crush every FBS team you come up against by an average of 31 points without being impressive, regardless of the perceived strength of schedule.
