because they already have what they want and won't benefit, and we won't get respect unless we play P5's. It doesn't matter if we kick the crap out of liberty who has several P5 wins already. They will just decide Liberty isn't good. What does that say about Clemson's entire schedule, they are beating the same teams liberty is beating. How is Clemson any more deserving if that is the case? I hate that the system is completely controlled by the teams with money, and not based on who the best team really is.

At the very least, the P5's chosen for the playoffs should have to play and beat an undefeated teams before they get in. Number four plays the highest rated undefeated non-P5 team, Number 3 plays the next, and so on. These play in games would add a lot more legitimacy in my mind. But the cowardly P5's wouldn't go for it, because even at the collegiate level, it's not about ability or effort, it's about who has the power and where those people want the money to go. Makes me not want to watch football at all, certainly I won't be watching the playoffs this year.
