By the way, the PC12 could use BYU to fill in open spots for games that get cancelled. On that front, we are aligned.

The PC12 doesn’t need BYU to get in to a NY6 - they have an auto bid. They also don’t need BYU to get in to the playoff because there is very little chance a PC12 school gets in. They can’t get in with a full schedule in a non-covid year - no way it happens this year. So, it’s hard to see why the PC12 would risk their best team losing to BYU - it would only hurt national perception of the conference if they lose and it won’t do much to benefit the PC12 nationally if they win. They may let other teams play BYU, but I don’t see them letting Oregon.

This whole idea about BYU playing Oregon just looks very unlikely to me, but I’m expecting a bunch of people on this thread who think it will happen to blast away :).
