if you are watching for correct portrayals of physics, star wars is not the content for you.
Lots of bad stuff in there. I hated some stuff in TLJ. I won't even argue for it.
What i will argue is the following:
1. The Rey parentage twist was awesome and unexpected.
2. The Snoke twist was awesome and unexpected.
3. Luke being imperfect and fallen was unexpected and awesome and great story telling.
4. The force being available to everyone was awesome.
Other than that there were some major flaws, just like there is with every other SW movie other than Empire. Part of the reason that a lot of people hate TLJ is because they disagreed with the twists or some external thing (PC portions, Rose's bad story, Leia flying) and held it against the best parts of the movie.
The 4 things i listed above were the best SW movie plot points since empire. It's not even close IMHO.

Since ROTJ I think Rogue One, The Last Jedi (yeah I said it), Mando, Clone Wars, and Rebels are all at least as good

The problem is that you think ROTJ is great because of your nostalgia for the film. Plenty of Star Wars content post
