Not 04 so much, the rivalry was at its toxic peak in 04. But in 08 I was in a room of 25 BYU fans who were cheering like
It was BYU. A couple former players were there, and a few of us who never rooted for the Utes. We were going nuts!
I think thats partially why it got toxic again...Many Utes threw it in the faces of BYU fans who were rooting for them... Fandom is tricky business.
But I think most are rooting for this team...kind of hard not to.
