I get this POV. Totally.
It’s how I felt in 04 and 08. It’s not about the game it’s about the recruiting advantage.
As for the SOS argument last year vs this year.
I feel BYU deserves the ranking that Utah should’ve had pre-p12 title game. 9-10. Putting Utah 5 was too much. BYU at 13 behind 3 2-loss teams is too low.
Not too much mental gymnastics.
To claim in 04 and 08 that UU deserved more and now claim that BYU doesn’t deserve similar is maybe some mental gymnastics.
