I enjoyed residency/fellowship a lot more than my real job
Just the comradery and being challenged intellectually made it tolerable
Now my life is mind-numbingly mundane and isolated.
Plus it’s nice to operate or do procedures and not ultimately be responsible for the bad stuff - was pretty stress free for me
