That's encouraging to hear.
I had the grades and the desire to go into medicine - surgery in particular - but I just didn't want to go without sleep. Check that, I couldn't go without sleep... so I went into engineering instead.
I often wonder what it might have been like to be a surgeon (lots of medical professionals in the family and extended family). [Sigh]
