Eh, I’m still not convinced. People don’t buy stuff with Bitcoin, they sell it for USD or a true currency and buy stuff
With that. Just like gold. Maybe it will be totally different in 10 years, but I only see that happening if BTC somehow addresses its volatility problems.
(I know there are some places that accept payment via crypto, but it’s a tiny fraction)

Yes, the goal was to facilitate peer-to-peer, verified, non reversible transactions via a distributed ledger design.
