One day Clemson (34) might even pass up USC (50)
Not for another few decades naturally though. Anyone arguing Clemson is better than USC would clearly be laughable until then though.
Similarly it's weird that people think Alabama has the best football team. They're good (58) but clearly not on the level of Michigan (61).
Maybe one day BYU basketball (11x ranked) would even get on the same level as Utah (20x ranked)
To be honest (as a data science guy) the garbage use of statistics here bothers me more than any of the points that the original author was trying to make.
