How do you know if they don't get a chance to play? Btw, why are you using

UTSA as an example? Have they ever won their conference? They're relatively new to FBS football.

As I've posted before, no conference champion (including P5 conferences) should get into the CFB unless they're at least ranked in the top 25 by a composite computer ranking system to take subjectivity and bias out of the equation as much as possible.
