Electrical fires and electrocution

can't seem to convince her that things that aren't plugged in don't have electricity flowing, so we cant have plugs exposed or touching anything flammable or metal. This includes extension cords touching while being stored. She doesn't trust that unplugged appliances will not turn on or burst into flames.
