I feel like those who pout about not getting what they want are free to
withhold their donations.
They should also feel compelled to withhold their commentary on BYUs athletics not paying coaches enough, etc.
The whole “do what you can for yourself” thing goes both ways. If you want your teams to win and be supported fully then you need to be part of that support. Even in hard times.

Not really a concern. They got new donors and more donations than usual. They grew the base for donations.
